Prishtinë. Datë 19 -20 shkurt u mbajt Konferenca: “Dhuna në Familje dhe Dhuna Seksuale: Sfidat Ndërdisiplinore dhe Përgjegjësitë e Shtetit”
Kjo Konference u organizua nga Shoqata e Grave të Policisë së Kosovës me përkrahjen e United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
Në këtë aktivitet morën pjesë përfaqësues nga shumë institucione vendore dhe ndërkombëtare si Policia e Kosovës, Prokuroria, Gjyqësori, Dogana, EULEX, OSCE, IPK, KFOR, Institucioni I Avokatit të Popullit, ShGShKK, Mjekësia Ligjore, Instituti I Mjekësis Ligjore, Qendra për Punë Sociale, Ministria e Shëndetësis, IKD, NORMA dhe përfaqësues të shoqërisë civile dhe institucione të tjera relevante.
Konferenca u pasurua me ligjërata nga profesorë dhe ekspertë nga Turqia, si dhe profesionistë të fushës së ekzaminimeve klinike dhe mjekësisë ligjore, të cilët ndanë përvoja dhe praktika profesionale në trajtimin dhe dokumentimin e rasteve të dhunës.
Kjo konferencë mblodhi së bashku institucionet kryesore që veprojnë në këtë fushë, duke forcuar bashkëpunimin ndërinstitucional dhe qasjen e përbashkët në adresimin e dhunës në familje dhe dhunës seksuale.
Shoqata e Grave të Policisë së Kosovës mbetet e përkushtuar për forcimin e bashkëpunimit institucional për ngritjen e rolit dhe pozitës së gruas ne pergjithesi.

Prishtinë, February 19–20
The conference “Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence: Interdisciplinary Challenges and State Responsibilities” was held on February 19–20. The conference was organized by the Women Association of Kosovo Police with the support of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo.
Representatives from many local and international institutions participated in this event, including the Kosovo Police, the Prosecution, the Judiciary, Customs, EULEX, OSCE, IPK, KFOR, the Ombudsperson Institution, the Kosovo Correctional Service Women’s Association, Forensic Medicine, the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Centers for Social Work, the Ministry of Health, IKD, NORMA, as well as representatives of civil society and other relevant institutions.
The conference was enriched with lectures from professors and experts from Turkey, as well as professionals in the field of clinical examinations and forensic medicine, who shared their experiences and professional practices in handling and documenting cases of violence.
This conference brought together the key institutions operating in this field, strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and a joint approach to addressing domestic violence and sexual violence.
The Women Association of Kosovo Police remains committed to strengthening institutional cooperation and advancing the role and position of women in general.
